We deliver industry-leading training and phishing simulations for our customers, powered by our in-house Learning Management System and Content Creator.

We are advertising for the position of a Front-End Software Engineer to help improve the look-and-feel of our products and the User Experience for our users.
The company graduated from the Alacrity Foundation, is a member of Cyber Wales, and has previously secured funding from Wesley Clover and the Development Bank of Wales.
Hut Six is currently operating a hybrid workplace with employees given the option to work from home or the office. You may be required to come into the office for occasional meetings or events.
What is the Role?
We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer to join the team. You must have a degree in a related field or at least 2 years’ industry experience in a similar role to apply.
You will be joining a small, friendly team of engineers with plenty of opportunity to make your mark. You will also be working closely with our Graphics Designer.
The company is based in Newport, Wales and though the team mostly works from home, you should be prepared to come into the office during the onboarding process.
You will be working on building new features, improving the user experience and you will also help produce new content for our phishing simulator and our cyber awareness courses.

Who are we looking for?
We’re after someone with enthusiasm for building products and who takes pride in creating something that is accessible to everyone. Of equal importance, a positive attitude and the capability to collaborate within a team structure in a frequently changing start-up environment.
- Understand how to make web pages and web applications accessible
- Can write automated tests
- Are proficient in:
- HTML + CSS
Other desirable skills include:
- An understanding of the principles of Search Engine Optimisation
Salary and Benefits
The salary will be between £28,000 and £34,000 depending on skills and experience.
